Choose a good vet that fits your budget
You need to have a good vet to take care of your pets. Research and check around because vets are expensive too. Look for a vet in your area by phone book or using the computer.
Make sure your pets are up to date on their shots. That’s if a problem should arise you would have proof that they had all their shots and they are up to date. Better safe than sorry in the long run.
And another thing is if you do decide to take your pet to a groomer they want their rabies vaccine record to prove that they had their shots. That is something you would have to stay up on.
Remember budget make sure that you find a vet that will fit into your budget. And also if you have other animals that the same vet can take care of all of the animals. You don’t want to be paying out for different vets now. That will cost a fortune for you.
Question your pet’s medicines
You want healthy pets and be careful of any medicines you have to give your pet. If it is a pill stick in wet food that way when they eat they will have taken the pill. If you want you can break the pill up in there food. Ask the vet if you can do that just to be on the safe side. Liquids are easier for them to take so you don’t have to worry too much about that.
Make sure your pet is calm because they can get fussy not so many dogs but cats are the ones that get stress out quicker than dogs do. I know from experience. My cats scratch the tech and were not too thrilled with the doctor either. My dog was scared of the scale and the table but that was about it. He liked the doctor.
