Abandonment and cruelty of pets with stiffer laws

Would you abandon your pet

I have a question for those of you who are pet lovers. Would you abandon your pet for something better? I don’t think you would. There is such pet abandonment in this world it is not even funny.

Too many people think that a puppy or kitten is cute and then when they grow up they are no longer cute and then they get abandoned and that is not fair to your pet. That pet has grown to love and trust you from the beginning and you just up and abandoned that pet.

They are supposed to be cute when they are young but as they grow older they are a part of your family and your human children have grown up with these pets. Just to abandon them, There is no reason under the sun to explain why anyone would abandon them.”

Pets have feelings too, and you have to realize that before you adopted a pet. You don’t know what that pet has been through first all and you abandoning it does not help the issue.

Pets have embedded scars

The pets have deeply embedded scars because of what humans have done to them, and it’s hard for them to get close to another human for fear they will be abandoned again.”This kind of action scars the pet and makes them feel unloved as well as unprotected. This can also deepen the wounds by making them feel unwanted.”

You as a human have a choice and responsibility to care for a pet. Don’t take that responsibility lightly because it wears on that pet. Don’t bring a pet into your life if you are not going to take care of it properly.

Needs to be stiffer laws for pets

I have been watching videos and they are heartbreaking on what we humans do to pets and it is not nice at all. Especially the ones that run puppy mills that are definitely not right. The owners are only out for one thing and that is money. They don’t care about the dogs or puppies.

“There need to be stiffer laws for the pets since they can’t fend for themselves. We as humans need to help these pets.”

“I saw a video where people left their dog tied up in the backyard when they moved to another place. The shelter and the rescue team found the owners, and they admitted to everything. They were arrested for animal cruelty.

Stiffer laws in two states

There is an update for stiffer laws for pets. Right now in the state of Pennsylvania, it is now a felony to abuse an animal. And also in New Hampshire has stiffer laws too about have more puppies and kittens.

This is in New Hampshire if there is an arrest for cruelty the officer may take procession of the animal(s). So now the laws are changing and that is awesome.

You can look online for the laws for animal cruelty. I would check it out to see what the laws are and if they are not fitting then fight for the right of the pet that these people get put away for good so they can’t hurt another animal.

No animal deserves to be abused, they are innocent bystanders. Please be the voice of the animals fight for their rights and protect them from harm and abuse.

At least this is a start and I am hoping that this will be adopted by all the states will change their laws and make them stiffer so that not another animal can’t be harm or hurt anymore.

I will be updating this blog on a regular basis about the laws for animals. This is something that we have to be the voice for them because they can’t speak for themselves. I can’t express this enough we have to come up with new or adjust the old laws but we need laws against animals cruelty.

These pets do not ask to be mistreated, and often they are. Instead of being loved and cared for, they are being abused, neglected and abandoned.

We need to speak up for our pets

There are just too many cases of pet abandonment which are unnecessary and is a direct form of cruelty and abuse. For those of us who truly love and adore our furry friends, let’s step up and speak out to protect them from any form of abuse. Please join me on my journey to educate and inform everyone regarding this unfortunate situation and to explore resolutions.”

This has become an academic of abandonment of pets. People, in general, buy pets from the pet store and keep them till they get so big and then the abandon them. By leaving them on the side of the road or just outside. This has to stop because this is cruelty to pets.

If you want a pet then take the responsibility of taking care of them they have feelings and emotions too. They show them in a different way then we do. Pets can become heartbroken just like a human.

Pets show their emotions by going in a corner and stay there, they don’t want to eat at all, they lay around, and they don’t play or show any happiness at all. So we have to be careful when we get a pet.

Please don’t abuse them in any way and don’t get rid of them. They become attached to you and they have bonded with you as well. They love you unconditionally and all they want is the same in return and that is unconditional love right back.

That is what I say please if you want a pet please take care of them and adopt a pet from the local shelter don’t buy any puppy or dog. The shelter are full of dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens you have a variety of choices in pets.

Also please don’t give them up either this is a life long commitment you become one your are partners for life and you take care of each other.

Remember to adopt from your local shelter. They need love and homes too.

If you ever need a hand or have any questions or comments feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.

What a pity that someone will even abandon his/her pet. I get emotional each time I read about this sort of animal cruelty. It is time to stand up against it. At least take your pet to a shelter, or give it up entirely if you can no longer care for it. That is the least behaviour I expect from a decent individual. Your blog has really highlighted the this sad behaviour, and I do hope people change for the better. Thank you.

Thank you that is what my intention is to bring this to the awareness to the public because this is something that needs to be brought out in the open. This is something that is always been hidden away but I know that is it not the most pleasant subject, but it has to be brought out so we can try to prevent this type of behavior from happening to these precious pets. I think of my pets like my children and I would not trade them for the world.

My own greyhound, Ken was going to be put to sleep but fortunately the vet refused and the owner/trainer agreed to sign him over so that he could be rehomed. So many animals are abandoned through no fault of their own.

I am happy to know that your greyhound was not put to sleep and had a second chance at a new forever home with you. You are absolutely right, too many pets are being abandoned through no fault of their own. That is why when you think you are ready to adopt a pet please make absolutely sure this is what you want. I am really upset by the number of dogs and cats that are abandoned and it is a shame. That is why I want to do a website and get the word out on the internet. I just wish if you don’t want the pet anymore please take it to a shelter so they can have a second chance at a forever home. It is better than abandoning to the street where anything can happen.
