14 Things all dog owners do
We all want our dogs to be happy no matter what. We have come up with a list that dog owners do with their dogs just so that they are happy. That is not a bad idea then again that could be spoiling them.
We all want to spoil our furry children and some of us get carried away. That is okay because our furry children deserve to get spoiled once in a while. Here is the list that we do to our furry children.
- You’re always ready to give them a treat just because they look at you.
- You always remember their tastes
- You always try to make them even happier
- You always worry when your pet is sick
- You want your dog to have friends
- You always create new walking routes
- When your dog sneezes you say “Bless You”
- You definitely break your own rules
- You decide not to give your dog your food but always forget about it
- You think it’s your dog that produces all the noises at night
- You’re sure your dog is the best
- You have to go for a walk no matter what the weather is like
- You say that you love each other every day
You have to have rules and stick with them
When you make rules you have to stick to them. You just can’t just forget about it. You don’t have to be strick but you need to set boundaries for your furry child or children. You just can’t let them run over you, you are the boss.
You have to make sure that they listen to you. Make sure that you have them trained rather it is a puppy or dog. It is fun to have a furry child or children but we have to be the responsible one to take care of them.
There is a time to be serious and a time to have fun. This is a time to have fun with your furry child or children. It is up to you when you want to be serious and when you want to have fun.
We always make the rules but we end up breaking them. We always blame our furry children and that is wrong. We can’t keep on blaming the dog for something that we have done.
The puppies and or dogs need rules just like our children need rules and we have to stick to those rules. That is the only way that the will behave and learn what they can and cannot do.
We love our furry children but they need the boundaries. They just cannot just run around without having some kind of obedience training. They need to know who is in charge.
You do have to take it easy when you adopt a puppy or dog from the shelter. Who have to find out about them first so you don’t make a mistake when you take them home.
What I mean about that is you have to find out if the puppy or dog has been abused. You have to watch them because you don’t know how they were abuse so you need to get all the information on the puppy or dog.
After the puppy or dog bonds with you, it will be easier to take them to the obedience training. After the puppy or dog has been trained you have to stick with that training and the commands.
You will be great but you have to stick with the rules. You cannot deviate from those rules. Even though you want to you can’t. I just don’t want to see or hear that the puppy or dog went back to the shelter. They need loving homes and they can’t be shuffled back and forth.
The only thing is you have to make the effort of making that pet feel comfortable in your home and when they feel comfortable and start bonding with you-you can’t just give it back to the shelter.
Have fun and enjoy your furry children. Let them feel welcome and love and you will have a very good pet. Just love your new pet and take care of them the best way you know how.
Remember to adopt from your local shelter. They need love and home too.
